Purpose
We pray this website is a useful tool for your encouragement, to EDIFY the saints, EVANGELIZE the lost and most importantly EXALT the Lord Jesus Christ. If there is anything that would be helpful to you that you don't see here please let us know so we can make this website as effective as we can for the work of the Lord.
We would like to see Bible fellowships on rigs all over the oilfield. As men and women who work in the industry know it is impossible to be home with your family and local church while working on the rig, we'd love to see fellowships available to those of us who are looking for an opportunity to fellowship while at work in the field. It is a tremendous encouragement to Christians and provides a testimony for those who are lost in sin. We have received emails asking about fellowships that we know of so please let us know if your rig is holding Bible studies and we will be glad to direct those with requests!

WARNING! Education, Money and Pleasure are three things Americans will chase after at the expense of their own souls. Solomon had all these things to a greater extent than any man on earth so let's see what he has to tell us about them.

Our beginning
The Oilfield Bible Fellowship is a testimony to the liberty of the Holy Spirit and what He is able to accomplish when the Lord Jesus Christ is glorified and the words of God are sown in the hearts of men and women. In Piceance Creek Colorado, on rig 215 in June of 2007, the Lord used a mud engineer and a group of roughnecks, galley hands, company men, mud loggers, and safety men who had a desire to learn the Bible to begin gathering for a Bible study. These men began meeting together in the living room of the mud engineer's trailer where he taught the Bible studies. A few men were saved immediately and others found grace to help in their relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Prayer requests were prayed over and the Bible was read and taught beginning with basic doctrinal lessons on salvation, eternal security and baptism. The number of men and women grew and the Lord blessed His word as it went out. We pray the Lord continues to use His words to get men and women saved and growing in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ where we work in the oilfield. If you have a testimony of how the Lord is working or if you have begun a Bible study in your part of the oil patch, send us your testimony! _____________________________________________________

IF YOU DIED RIGHT NOW, ARE YOU 100% SURE YOU WOULD GO TO HEAVEN ? You may say it's impossible to answer that question, but the Bible says you can and should know the answer to this question. 1 John 5:13 "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may KNOW that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God." These five things were written so that you and I could know how to obtain eternal life and KNOW it. 1. I’m a Sinner Isaiah 59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear. (see also Romans 3:10-12, Galatians 3:22, Jeremiah 17:9)
2. My Sins Must Be Paid For Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death...
3. I Will Face Judgment Hebrews 9:27 As it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this the judgment.
4. I Have a Substitute Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (see also 1 Peter 3:18, 2 Corinthians 5:21, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
5. I Must Receive the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior from the penalty of my sins Romans 10:9-10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (see also Romans 10:13 and Acts 16:30-31)

For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. Revelation 19:10
One test the Lord has given for His words is prophecy (Deuteronomy 18:21-22 & Isaiah 41:21-29). No other religious writings come close to the massive amount of prophecy in the Bible. Prepare ye the way of the Lord was the cry more than 800 years before Jesus Christ came the first time. No other religious leader ever had anything prophesied about his coming. There are 50 prophecies of the Lord Jesus Christ’s first coming including specific details about his death.
According to www.neverthirsty.org (The Master Ministries): 31 prophecies =

Peter Stoner, Professor Emeritus of Westmont College organized a statistical analysis of the prophecies and presented his findings to American Scientific Affiliation. (Peter Stoner, Science Speaks, Chicago: Moody Press, 1969.)

Conclusions of Mathematics and Statistics. www.biblebelievers.org.
“God so thoroughly vindicated Jesus Christ that even mathematicians and statisticians, who were without faith, had to acknowledge that it is scientifically impossible to deny that Jesus is the Christ.”
